Spring break is here!!! FINALLY.
The play is over. Seniors were down. You know how it goes. I'd rather not explain.
Easter went pretty well. I went up north, and it was like a blizzard up there. It felt like Christmas.... not Easter. Ah well...
Bill is confused about life.... but nonetheless, he trudges onward.
Goodnight. This was a pretty worthless entry.
TO MY BED!!!!

Sweet Jesus. I took a comb to my hair. Hell must be freezing over. It looks pretty stylin' I say. I'm going to try for the standard:
Bill = Marlon Brando (Streetcar Named Desire mostly) If that equation holds true, it must lead to another equation:
Bill = Sex magnet = Sex Bomb = Sex Pot = Chick Magnet = ...... etc.
Remember the good ol' days? The ones where you posted an entry and within 1 hour you had at least one comment, and at least every hour there was a friend's entry up. Ah, yes. The time when everyone had to have an LJ. Now, I find myself alone with a couple of people who rarely post.
Enough reminicing (however the hell you spell it).
I'm going to a Shindig tonight, it should be fun.
Um... I think that's it for now.

So I was thinking throughout the whole time I did not post, and here's the last of the decision regarding this journal:
Come my 200th entry, it's gone. Adios, muchachos.
But the way I'm posting these things, it won't be gone til my senior year.
So what happened since I last posted? Hmmmm.....
Well, Christmas Dance happened. That was fun. Um... I haven't gone to a C.A.P.R.A meeting.... Saddam's dead.... Carl's birthday...
And it's New Year's Eve. Of course. Party!! Woot. Happy New Year's, kids.
Cheers.
Opinion of This Entry: The Nintendo Wii is better than PS3. The only thing Playstation has on that thing is graphics (that and it costs $400 more! WTF)

Bill is back.... back again.... Bill is back, tell a friend. Bill is back, Bill is back, Bill is back, Bill is back....
So I just got home from up north. I really don't want this break to end.
The play is over. Mixed emotions over that. Kinda happy, everyone was reaching a breaking point, but then I probably won't see half of those people until spring (or maybe until Xmas dance, who knows).
So I went on another teepeeing adventure. That was fun. We left at about midnight, and I basically didn't stop driving my car around (except for a pit stop at Meijer's or at people's houses) until 6 in the morning. Yep. 6. We finally realized when we could see the reflection of the sun that we probably should go home... except for the fact that we were in Shelby Township, which my dad said was in Macomb County. Heh. Longest drive of my life. I felt like my head was going to smash into the wheel, but oh well. It was fun.
And now for that quiz that I pilfered from Alana who snatched it from Brigitte who filched it from another person (Some answers may look familiar; I blame my laziness).
Fact of This Entry: Petoskey is a growing town. They're building a huge casino and another mall area, along with several other well known stores.

That famous phrase that I thought I would never say....
"I think I might delete my journal."
I don't know, I'm thinking about it. All I see anymore is Brigitte's entries and sometimes Lauren's, that's it. It's had its ups and downs, and this may be the end of the road. Ah well.
Junior year is screwing me over. Not to brag, but I'm in the top 5% of my class ($10 says Lucas is numero uno). If I drop out of that, I have basically a zero shot at getting into U of M, and Rice decided to throw everything my way. They wouldn't let me take a study hall. I signed up for it, and the next day, they basically crossed it out. I signed up for regular French, and somehow I'm in Honors. I tried to take Latin Honors (a blow off class for you people who do not know), and they said the class closed. From what I hear, first hour has about 10 desks open. Those bastards. Grrr. I have 4 B's in 5 of my Honors classes, and I have to get 3 A's. 3. Who says Rice isn't hard? Pft. They don't know shit.
Oh, I forgot to mention I'm going to Game 2 of the World Series.
Fact of This Entry: The Tigers are in the World Series. Yeah. I'm lazy tonight.

Instead of updating throughout the past month, I'll just update my birthday and yesterday.
Yeah, my birthday was pretty sweet, I'm not gonna lie. I'm 17, I can drive past midnight (legally)! Yay!!!
The Legend of Zelda comes out for Gamecube December 11. I'll be waiting.
Good day, y'all.

D.C. was insane. I absolutely loved it. It was hot, with a 70% humidity (BRUTAL), but it was worth it. I saw all the memorials/monuments, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, a cop whipping out his gun, the JFK grave, The Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights, Constitution....
Yes, a cop whipped out his gun on some homeless guy. It was SWEET.
Ok, so we're walking down the street. Across it, I hear a bottle break and some homeless guy walks toward this police officer. I couldn't hear what they were saying, but what I saw was probably something I won't see for a while. The cop whipped out his gun, aimed at the guy, and probably warned him if he went any closer, he would shoot. The homeless guy thought better, and threw the bottle away. And then the sirens were heard. I swear, cops jumped out of trees. They fly in like insects. It was crazy.
Yeah. That was the highlight of the day.
So. This question came up on some of the ESPN NFL boards, so I thought I'd put it here.
Here's the matchup:
America, Britain, Israel and Germany vs. the World.
Who wins?
In my opinion, the 4 countries win. The U.S. probably has some crazy ass shitastic weapon that could blow up Europe. China only has manpower, not technology. Their military sucks (no, I'm not speaking out of my ass, there's a website that will follow. They can't take out itty bitty Taiwan). Russia would be hard to defeat, because they are a superpower after all, but the U.S. could take them out. Our navy kicks major ass, and would control the Atlantic/Pacific soon enough.
There's my opinion, what's yours?
Oh, and Brigitte, the draft still can be used, but ONLY in a national emergency, i.e. aliens come and attack the earth.
Fact of This Entry: There is a difference between a monument and a memorial. A monument is when the person knows there will be something built for them, but a memorial is built when a person does not know that it will be built, such as after his or her death.

BREAKING NEWS: The Lions are keeping Joey Harrington. Even better, he has been named the starter.
My commentary on this move: Matt Millen again has shown his genius on dealing with players. The only real upgrade that we could get a QB was Kurt Warner, and he was resigned by the lowly Cardinals. With an offensive guru like Martz, Harrington could really develop as a QB. His other coaches didn't believe in him at all, and put all the blame on him. He has taken a lot. He still has a lot of talent. Let's see if Martz can bring it out.
In my opinion, this was an excellent move. I'm sensing an 8-8 to 10-6 season with the Lions (and yes, I'm being serious.) Carl, who smacks the Lions every chance he gets, predicts a 9-7 season. Last year, he picked a 5-11 season, the same record we had at the end. I feel a playoff berth.
Let the debating begin in Detroit.
Bill, excited fan of the Lions, who will soon have a winning record.

Hello.
I need everyone's help on this little problem.
Mr. Shaw, my crazy Religion teacher, wants us to get a song on the meaning of death of the meaning of life.
And me, being the guy who has basically no CDs on that subject, is screwed.
So please, ideas? Greatly appreciated.

Bill's chances of having a snow day tomorrow:
50/50
Why? We're supposed to get the small stuff tonight... which is bad. BUT..... we're supposed to get some freezing rain... which means ice. Ice is enough to get us a snow day.
So... Carl has his rosary out and his mini statue of Mary... Carl says, "Sacrifice something!!!"
So yes, there's your update.

Woowee, it's been one hell of a weekend/week.
Friday was a snow day. And Christmas dance. Which makes the roads slippery. Which was hell, but I made it in and out of Lauren's suberb alive with no injuries. A few skids, missed turns, and confused minds, but no injuries.
We got there early.... and the tables had to be switched around and such. Met everyone... etc.
The dance was fun. I saw so many MRP/Rice/Marian friends that I knew of... which was cool.
Saturday was exhausting. Carl and I got together to figure out the impossible thing called Chemistry. But we mastered it, and soon enough, fought each other over supremacy is Star Wars: Battleground. Carl captured all the planets, EXCEPT Yamin IV. He couldn't beat me in that. It was physically impossible. And then I made a run, and my Rebel army came back...
But then we got the announcement to go sledding. WOOHOO. It was crazy. I "accidentally" tackled Carl on a sled. Then we got some Burger King... and headed back to the cave.
Sunday was just a regular day.
I really don't remember anything interesting from Monday or Tuesday. But Shin did draw a SWEET drawing of a snowman and put it in my locker. Artist.

Today was a VERY BAD DAY. Horrible. Probably the worst I've had since.... hm. I'd have to think about that.
So it started out horrible. I woke up late.... rushed out of the house (I'll make a note here to say that it was snowing). Low and behold, I take my sisters car, which has no ABS. I think you know where this is leading to.
On Maple, I was driving along at 45 mph.... and the guy ahead of me SLAMS (and I mean SLAMS) on his brakes. Well, being used to an ABS type car, I slam on my brakes as well. Except that I'm on ice. With no ABS. So I skid out, which I have done before, but this time was different. Last time, I had room to skid out. This time there was a sidestreet with, GASP! Another car pulling out. What luck. So, I'm trying to steer out of the skid, which was impossible, SLAM into the curb, basically spin my car into a stop sign, and land in some grass on another person's lawn, and then I finally stop.
That whole sequence took about the amount of 2 seconds.
Probably one of the top 5 scariest moments in my life. So yeah, going through my head all day was that, replaying the motion over and over and over... (during the crash, I was thinking, "Is this REALLY happening?" I thought it was a dream at first.)
I realized after the crash that either I had some super 1 in a million luck, or either some freaking miracle happened. The area between the car in front of me and the car on my right was so small, only a Hummer could drive STRAIGHT through it. And note that I was weaving. I had no control. God was there... or either I had an extreme amount of luck. It could've turned out a hell of a lot worse. A little kid could've been on that corner waiting for the bus... I could've got hit by the car on the right and been shot into oncoming traffic, and I don't want to even THINK of what would happen if I went into there.
I'm putting this as a Public entry... I want old and new drivers alike to learn from my experience. It seemed for everything to go in super slow motion, but scary as hell. Drive safely, slowly, and CAREFULLY in this weather. It can happen to ANYONE. It scares the hell out of your parents, my mom was stuttering over the phone.
"Hey mom. I... got into a skid."
"Are you ok?! Just take a deep breath... and go along."
"Mom... I hit a stop sign and am in some guy's lot right now. I hit a curb."
Silence.
Me: "Should I call the police?"
"No... you don't have to unless you hit another car... did you hit another car?"
"No."
"Ok, then you can just leave."
Needless to say, I got to school late. I lost my elephant tie like RIGHT after Lauren gave it to me.
Ugh. So if I'm not my usual self, that's probably why. I'm scared and shocked out of my freaking mind. I'm not physically injured, just mentally mauled.
